Procurement path studies
The studies are scheduled for the autumn 2024 semester. Studies will start with the Orientation and Teaching day on Friday the 30th of August at 9:00, and the teaching for the semester ends on December 9th. The path studies consist of 15 credits. Registration takes place in the Open UAS registration system between June 3rd and August 6th, 2024.
Online contact teaching is organized mainly in the evenings at 17 - 20 EET and on Saturdays. There will be also a possibility to join the Orientation and Teaching day and start of the semester at Myyrmäki campus in Finland. The option to join online is available as well.
Path studies are an alternative route to becoming a degree student. You will study the first-year studies together with the degree program group. Please note that completing the path studies does not automatically guarantee admission as a degree student in a separate application process.
Content
Path studies consist of 15cr of Professional Procurement Studies. After completion of these 15 credits with good grades you are welcome to apply to become a degree student through a separate application process.
- Procurement Strategy, 30.8, 9.9, 23.9, 7.10 (on 30.8 at 13:30-16:00, otherwise at 17:00-20:00)
- Professional Growth, 22.10, 5.11, 23.11, 3.12 (on 23.11 at 10:00-14:00, otherwise at 17:00-20:00)
- Collaboration and Influencing Skills, 21.10, 11.11, 25.11, 9.12 (at 17:00-20:00)
Requirements
This Open study path requires an appropriate Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration). This is checked of all students. Work experience is not required in Open study paths. If you later apply to degree studies on the Basis of Open UAS Studies, two years' work experience will be required after completing your Bachelor's degree.

Enroll for the Procurement path studies in Metropolia Open UAS enrollment system (The link becomes active when the enrollment period begins)
Enrollment is done by clicking "Add to basket". You can enroll or accept a place from only one path. Enrollment is open from June 3rd at 10:00 to August 6th 2024 at 23:59. All eligible applicants will be invited to an interview on Tuesday 13th of August between 9-16. Interviews are conducted over Teams, 30 min per applicant.
